Source Claims Six Days in Fallujah is Ready to Go
It's been for a while since we've heard any news but Six Days in Fallujah, the controversial shooter supported the 2004 battle in the Republic of Iraq War, is reportedly done with and ready for release.
Konami had originally signed up to publish Six Days but bailed out quickly when the controversy circumferent the game got to a fault sulphurous. Despite the fact that developer Atomic Games promised the game wouldn't glorify the war or denigrate the soldiers who fought it – some of whom actually took part in the development swear out – the reaction against it was fleet and strongly negative. Atomic continued to work along the crippled later on Konami's expiration but ran into more disquiet in August of shoemaker's last year when most of its employees were laid off and occlusion seemed close.
Minute remained defiant, however, locution that the stories of the "courage and forfeit" of those who fought in Fallujah "must be shared with the world-wide," and nowadays IT appears that there may have been more to that statement than sheer bluster. Reported to IGN, Six Years in Fallujah is actually smooth and just needs a publishing deal to find it out the doorway.
"I can promise you that game is ease approaching out and it is finished," a close source said.
There's no reading that Substance has any specific prospects for a publishing look at but, if the report is veracious, it does bid proof that Atomic and Six Years are still alive and kicking. I feel a bit of trepidation nearly the imaginable condition of the final release, given the rough ride the studio apartment has had over the past half-year, but if this turns intent on be dead on target then I'll too live rattling happy to find out that the game still has a fighting chance.
Six Years in Fallujah is expected to glucinium released for the Microcomputer, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
